"On February 14, 2019, the Pulwama attack took place when a suicide bomber targeted a convoy of vehicles carrying Indian security personnel on the Jammu-Srinagar highway. The attack resulted in the death of 40 CRPF personnel and the attacker, a local Kashmiri youth associated with the Pakistan-based terrorist group, Jaish-e-Mohammed. Pakistan was the reason for all these, which strained the India-Pakistan relations and led to a military standoff. By 2021, 19 individuals were identified as accused, India responded swiftly to the attacks with an air strike, with the main accused and six others killed and seven arrested."
"We pay tribute to the brave soldiers who tirelessly stand guard day and night, ensuring our safety and security. On this day, we remember the fateful events of the Pulwama attack that took place on Valentine's Day, a stark reminder of the sacrifices made by our defenders. Their unwavering commitment to their duties and love for their country will always be remembered and cherished. Let us take a moment to honor their bravery and offer our deepest gratitude for their service."
